Another sensational season of cricket is about to start, and to top it off, this year is a very special one for us. We are very excited to be sharing the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre’s 50th year of trade with our cricket community!
The Greg Chappell Cricket Centre started in 1973, in the building next door to our current Albion store location, as a specialist cricket coaching clinic servicing Brisbane and surrounding areas. In the 1990’s our focus moved away from coaching and ‘The Cricket Centre’, backed by passionate and experienced staff, became the market leader in direct cricket retail. In this fairly short space of time, the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre has earnt the label of the largest specialist cricket retailer in the world!
Our bricks and mortar stores have now grown to 10 fantastic locations across Australia with our three newest stores all opening in Victoria last year. Alongside our physical stores, we also have extensive online and mail order services, with a team dedicated to ensuring the virtual experience is just as good as picking the gear out in-store, yourself.
Times are tough, but it’s never been easier to shop with The Cricket Centre as we now have a variety of ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ services. We also offer ‘Call & Collect’, ‘Click & Collect’ and several Postage options, for your gear to be delivered directly to you!
