Mr GC is back and he has gone digital! This summer Mr GC will be hiding prizes on www.cricketcentre.com.au every day of the 2013/14 Ashes series. To win you will need to find the prizes online by following the clues given on social media. The first person each day to follow the clues, find the prize, and complete the free online checkout process will be the winner!

What is Mr GC Online?

Our cricket mad friend ‘Mr GC' will be hiding daily prizes on www.cricketcentre.com.au during the 2013/14 Ashes test series. Mr GC will be providing clues to the whereabouts of each daily prize via text, photos or even videos on various Greg Chappell Cricket social media accounts. The winners each day will be the person who’s quick enough to locate the prize listing on www.cricketcentre.com.au and be the FIRST to place their entry by taking the prize through the full www.cricketcentre.com.au online checkout process. First to find and “order” the days prize will be the winner and receive the prize via Auspost Eparcel a few days later. The winner will be notified by phone or email using the contact details provided on their order. Other participants will be notified of the prize being won via social media as soon as the winner is confirmed. Once this process is complete, the prize listing will be removed from www.cricketcentre.com.au.

 

Important Information

    • When going though the www.cricketcentre.com.au checkout to place your entry, please select the Cheque/Money Order Payment Type.  This option has been specially modified so entrants can process their ‘Mr GC Online’ entry quickly and without submitting any form of payment
    • While ‘Mr GC Online’ entries require no payment for the prize, our online orders system doesn’t always reconnise this, so please ignore any postage prices that are quoted.
    • This competition is only open to Australian Residents with an Australian Postage address
    • Winners of a prize will not be eligible for further entries. Lets give everybody a go!

How do I give myself the best chance to win?

    • Sign up as a member to www.cricketcentre.com.au on your computer and/or smart phone
    • Make sure your “account address” is your current postage address, this will speed things up when you order
    • Follow the GCcricketcentre social media accounts: facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram

 

Where and when will the clues be available? 

    • Where: Greg Chappell Cricket Centre facebook and Twitter accounts with occasional bonus clues on Instagram and YouTube.
    • Keep an eye out for the pre-hit around 6:30pm AEST the night before each prize
    • Keep an eye out for the morning hint around 7am AEST
    • The longer the prize isn’t claimed, the more specific the clues for its location will become

 

What are the prizes?

There are five tests in the 2013/14 Ashes series with a maximum duration of 5 days each. This means that a maximum of 25 prizes will be available during the promotional period. The prize pool for each test will be available in the days leading up to the corresponding test match. See above for the prize pool for the 1st Test at the GABBA.

Terms and conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
  2. Entry is open to residents from Australia only. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, suppliers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
  5. Promotion commences on 21/11/2013 at 9:00am AEST and closes on 07/01/2014 at 7:00pm AEST ("Promotional Period"). The Promotion will only be running on days where cricket is played in the 2013/14 Ashes test series. Ie, if a test finishes on day 3, no prizes will be available for day 4 & 5. Due to the nature of International Test Cricket, there will be a maximum of 25 days of prizes with the Promotional Period. This Promotional Period will be separated by phases that coincide with the 2013/14 Ashes Test Series. Phase 1: 21-25 November 2013, Phase 2: 5-9 December 2013, Phase 3: 13-17 of December, Phase 4: 26-30 December and Phase 5: 3-7 January 2014
  6. A complete list of prizes will be added the www.cricketcentre.com.au blog
  7. A successful entry leading to the “winning” of a daily prize will void any future entries from that participant. The Promoter will make this decision based on Names, Addresses and Email address of the entrant.
  8. There is a maximum total to 25 prizes in this promotion. 9 Prizes are prizes autographed cricket memorabilia that do not come with certificates of authenticity. The remaining prizes will me made up of various cricketing equipment to a total of $4630
  9. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  10. The winner will be selected as the FIRST valid entry though the www.cricketcentre.com.au online orders process. See the how to enter section of this page for more information.
  11. Winners will be notified by social media along with direct contact by phone or email address. These details will be taken from the data provided by the entrant though the customer order process or their www.cricketcentre.com.au membership file. The Greg Chappell Cricket Centre takes no responsibility for incorrect or incomplete customer details.
  12. First names and initial of the last names of winning entrants will be used in marketing materials
  13. Prizes will be posted by the Promoter via the Aus Post ePARCEL system free of charge within 1 week of receiving conformation from the winning entrant.
  14. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. All prizes must be claimed within 2 weeks of winning. Unclaimed prizes thereafter will be made use of as the promoter sees fit.
  16. Any and all costs associated with collecting the prize (including but not limited to airfares, transport, accommodation and meals) are the sole responsibility of the Participant.
  17. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter and its Suppliers, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal or greater value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  18. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  19. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
  20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
  21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
